Matthew Mills

TOPIC: Generations of Change - Environmental justice and racism

Matthew Mills is a social worker and lecturer at UNC Charlotte. He is in his third year as an educator with experience also in clinical and community based mental health support. He currently focuses on community engagement and social justice as focal points of expertise, research, and engagement in class. He is passionate about the subject because of his own experiences with the impact of climate change as a Black man living in the south, and he has spoken on the topic with the support of the Wells Fargo Sustainability Team.
